How to start? 

It’s not a mystery that the entertainment industry is a hard one to break into. A question I’ve asked myself and I know a lot of people who’ve asked the same thing is: “How do I do this?” “Where do I start?” Everyone will tell you something different and then proceed to come back to the same solution ‘It’s about who you know.’ Which is the most frustrating answer to be given as someone who doesn’t know anyone. “Who’s going to give me a chance? And why would they?”. 

Haus Mirage wants to create an environment that allows for newcomers to be given a chance. 

If you’ve ever sent a script out, if you’ve every approached someone with an idea, if you’ve ever tried , and I mean, really really tried,  and then been ignored or been told ‘that’s stupid’ or ‘that’ll never work’ then you know exactly what I’m talking about. 

It takes a lot of bravery to speak to people in positions of power with a creative idea and just ask to be given a chance - it’s a vulnerability that can’t be compared. 

We want to create a community where hard-working creatives are rewarded with ‘the chance’.
